For the decently dressed lady of the 19th century, the proper undergarments are a must! And these sexy (at least in the sense of a victorian point of view ;) ) bloomers are part of what the lady wore under her skirts. Those drawers are made from 100% cotton fabric, the used pattern is historically accurate - taken from instructions of a reprinted book of that period. The legs are embellished with delicate white cotton lace - the exact design of the lace may differ from the one shown, since we can't alwas re-order the same. If you want to see in advance what we currently have in stock, drop us a quick note :) - each pair of trousers is made to order. The fabric is pre-washed before sewing. As a modern accommodation, the waist and legs are made with elastic ribbons, this makes our bloomers suitable for waist sizes from 60-110cm (in inch: 23,5 to 43,5). If you need a bigger one, just convo us before your purchase, we can make you some drawers in your individual measurements. If you want a more historically accurate model, we can make those bloomers as well with drawstring waist or a firm waistband, and if required - with the historically accurate open crotch as well. Please message us before your purchase in that case, because prices may vary, due to the higher work effort. This type of drawers is perfect for the so called bustle era, around the 1880s, the legs are around 70cm (27,5 inch) long. If you need a longer version, e.g. for the crinoline era around 1960's - we can do that as well! Convo us for details and prices, if you can't find one listed in our shop. Of course, these underpants are suitable for under a Lolita dress as well - and it is of course possible to make shorter bloomers too! But they work fine in everyday wear too! For example, in summer, as a super-comfy kind of harem trousers, they are great to relax in, but they work well with a wide tunic or romantic blouse, especially in hot weather, And in winter, nothing will keep you as warm as a long skirt, stockings and a pair of bloomers!
